Creating an essential oil blend

I’ve seen a lot of essential oils blends recently that are either unsafe quanitites or are counterintuitive to the properties of the other oils. 🤦‍♀️

Having just finished my aromatherapy qualification, I wanted to share with you my three favourite essential oil blends!

Please note, these are all done to the recommended standards practiced by the International Federation of Aromatherapists.

My favourite 3 essential oil blends

🍇Essential oil blend #1 – For concentraion 🍇

8 drops grapefruit
5 drops basil
5 drops bergamot
2 drops of lavender

🌿Essential oil blend #2 – For stress relief 🌿

6 drops rosemary
4 drops lavender
2 drops clary sage

🍋Essential oil blend #3 – For a good night’s sleep 🍋

6 drops geranium
4 drops sandalwood
3 drops lemon
2 drops chamomile roman

All of these blends need to be diluted in 30ml of carrier oil (sweet almond, coconut….etc.) or 30ml of water in order to be safe to apply to the skin, add to a bath or inhale via a diffuser.

Please note, you should NEVER ingest essential oils.

I found these blends in The Fragrant Pharmacy book. If you’re new to aromatherapy or a fan of essential oils, I definitely recommend checking it out.

Or – why not book yourself in for an aromatherapy massage in Guildford with me? Message me for more details about what you can expect.
